Interesting, but unfocused.

Although I like the many moods and atmospheres which the song creates, I feel like each section lacks support for the others. Kinda like one of those wooden bridges over a huge cliff that is supported by two ropes. Yeah, it gets the job done, but that thing isn't very tough, if you know what I mean.

Try to slowly transition from section to section over the course of approximately 5-10 seconds. Perhaps you could fade in the section, or you could have a few elements of each movement remain in the next for a certain portion of time.

Also, I feel as if the section at 1:10-1:50 should be at the beginning, followed by what you currently start with. A storm starts out as a drizzle most of the time, and then gradually intensifies before slowly or suddenly dying off.

Also in the 1:10-1:50 section, the clip you used for the melody kinda cuts short. I don't know if this was your intention, but it sounded a tad bit unprofessional. It's not a major issue though,

Otherwise, you've got an adequate work here. I like it.

Nothing professional about any of my work really. It really was just a little side work I did to distract myself from my chemistry paper, so I originally had no intention of posting it here. THanks for the advice, though.

It's decent.

It's definitely a good start. However, just guitars and drums make for an empty performance, no? It might just be me, but you should either try to get some sort of melodic instrument in this song and come up with a melody which could contrast the guitar part, or create lyrics and rename the song based on them.

Also, the transition from 0:25-0:28 sounded a little awkward. Perhaps its because you downshift so suddenly after one note from the guitar. It might not be, but perhaps the sixteenth drums in the background can slow down more gradually, over three or four seconds.

I'm just toying with ideas. Feel free to act upon whatever you like. At the moment though, this sounds kinda like background music, which is definitely not what metal was made for, save for video game fights and such.

thanks its not quite done yet and there's no lyrics but its a working progress

Stunning; Awesome Job

You know, more music like this is needed on Newgrounds. There isn't enough awesome boss music to listen to, in my opinion.

I like how you introduce the Guitar at the halfway point, it's definitely my favorite part. The dynamics were suitable for a boss battle, and the song seems like you can loop it, which is awesome.

Awesome work man, I hope you make more awesome music.

NemesisTheory responds:

Well, if it's up to me (and it really isnt!) I can always make more for you guys <3.

It is indeed designed to loop for games and movies that intend to use it longer than 2 minutes, helps out the authors a bit I think. :)

And don't worry, you'll hear from me again. ;D

The beats, they are wonderful.

This is seriously one of the best low-key songs I've listened to in a long time. It's subtle enough that it doesn't get annoying, and the dynamic level doesn't get too extreme, yet somehow, it manages to stay varied. This is truly quite the special song you have here, and I hope to hear something as awesome as this from you in the future.

Learning the ropes of producing electronic music, dreaming of one day reaching a professional level and having my music heard by tons of people around the world.
